Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance

Program Description

Students majoring in finance develop the skills necessary for careers in fields like asset management, investment banking, financial management, and mergers and acquisitions. Our students learn practical decision-making skills that give them an edge in their careers.

The core curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge necessary to prepare for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exams.  In the spirit of fostering meaningful technical competencies, our program connects theory and practice. The Dolphin Student Investment Fund (DSIF) is a student-managed portfolio in excess of $900,000 as of August 2021. The program provides students with valuable hands-on investment experience. Student analysts manage the assets directly, often making decisions about asset sales and purchases that total $100,000 or more. Members of the DSIF team have competed in the CFA Challenge and have gained national and international acclaim.
