Program Description

The Management major in the Davis College of Business & Technology stands out amongst others as they infuse their curriculum with a focus on leadership and entrepreneurship. Students are pushed to think “outside the box” to discover the leader and innovative possibiiltites within themselves. Jacksonville University Professors are also highly qualified; many with both academic and business credentials bring real-world examples into the classroom. The program requires mastery of the core business curriculum, so students are well-grounded in the fundamentals of business. Next, they learn the essential ingredients of management and entrepreneurship, how teams, organizations, and major corporations are organized and function.

The courses are designed to provide an understanding and application of management concepts from the basic principles of starting a business, to the development of organizational objectives. The program studies and explores important processes such as decision-making, business analysis, communications, negotiations, and CMA.

Admission Requirements

• A GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 required in Year 12th.
