Program Description

The Marketing major at Jacksonville University prepares students for rewarding careers in a number of professions in an ever-increasing global economy. Our marketing program includes topics such as marketing strategy, consumer behavior, service operations, market research and professional selling; all focused on understanding how organizations create and deliver value. Through assignments and class projects, students will have an opportunity to learn about the latest marketing trends and developments while acquiring a solid grounding in business fundamentals.

Great marketers have a passion for identifying consumer and business problems and developing products, services, and technologies that make an impact and solve consumer and business problems.  The marketing major is intended to prepare students for positions in areas such as brand management, marketing research, product distribution, advertising, and professional sales.
