Program Description

Finance is the study of value, investments and financial management. Using basic principles from the fields of accounting, economics and statistics, finance involves analysis of financial institutions, markets and concepts. The B.S. in Finance introduces students to principles in corporate and international finance and investment, and basic economics and market concepts. Through the curriculum, finance majors can emphasize in the study of markets or the study of financial management practices. Students who complete the B.S. in Finance can find a career in public or private sector positions, such as:

  • Risk Management Specialist

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants who have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or above will automatically be admitted to the university and not be required to submit standardized test scores for admissions.
  • Applicants who score below a 2.5 grade point average are encouraged to submit standardized test scores(ACT or SAT scores)
