Bachelor of Science Engineering Management Technology

Program Description

If you enjoy working in a team-based, technical environment and want to be a leader, engineering management technology may be for you. Engineering managers improve the performance of systems, ensure the quality of products, and design better ways of making things. Western Michigan University's engineering management technology program combines math, chemistry, physics, electronics, computers and accounting with communication, team building, and the importance of the human dimension in the workplace. Engineering management classes at WMU are usually small—consisting of just 16 to 20 students—which will allow you to take full advantage of our faculty's expertise, experience and connections to local businesses. As an engineering management technology student at WMU, you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects with local industry, qualify for our departmental scholarships, become a member of the Sunseeker solar racing team, or join one of our registered students organizations, such as the Society of Plastics Engineers.
