UD College of Engineering students have access to state-of-the-art facilities, internationally renowned faculty and other resources. The Patrick T. Harker Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Laboratory brings together teaching, learning and research in an integrated way, so that research informs the curriculum content and students learn by exploring real-world problems. The Mechanical Engineering Design Studio is a 3,500 square-foot “maker-space” for group projects, computer-aided design, prototyping and design validation. It is a community space that is open 24-7 for mechanical engineering students and their collaborators.
