Program Description

This program has two main objectives: to provide an advanced understanding of the criminal justice system and its components and to provide either a concentration of knowledge and application of skills in a specialized subfield of study or a broad exploration of the discipline based on individual student needs through the selection of disciplinary electives. The criminal justice program leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and supports the Bachelor of Applied Science Degree with courses applicable to criminal justice, community and mental health, and legal studies tracks. When you reach graduation, you’ll have the skills to take on careers that include:

Admission Requirements

• Although not required for admission purposes, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit SAT or ACT scores to the university for academic advising and enrollment purposes.
• Students who graduate high school within the high school class quartile below will be guaranteed admission if the required diploma type is earned.
• Students who attend a non-ranking high school, will be provided a class ranking based off of their GPA and the admissions office's internal ranking system.
