Program Description

MIS (Management information systems) is a perfect career for a student who loves doing business and at the same time enjoys working with computers and technologies. MIS is a people-oriented field with an emphasis on meeting business needs through technology. This major explores how students can use computing technologies to create business solutions and focuses on the best way to enable the organization to meet its goals and business challenges. MIS students learn about business processes and analyze how to improve the processes using technology.  When you reach graduation, you’ll have the skills to take on careers that include:

Admission Requirements

• Although not required for admission purposes, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit SAT or ACT scores to the university for academic advising and enrollment purposes.
• Students who graduate high school within the high school class quartile below will be guaranteed admission if the required diploma type is earned.
• Students who attend a non-ranking high school, will be provided a class ranking based off of their GPA and the admissions office's internal ranking system.
