Program Description

The mathematics program provides its majors and graduate students with preparation for careers in education, science, and commerce, as well as providing a solid foundation for further study in mathematics. In support of the graduate program, the mathematics faculty pursues scholarship in mathematics, applications of mathematics, and instruction in mathematics. Finally, the mathematics program serves the community by providing its expertise to local schools, industry, and businesses. When you graduate with this degree you can obtain a career:

Admission Requirements

• Although not required for admission purposes, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit SAT or ACT scores to the university for academic advising and enrollment purposes.
• Students who graduate high school within the high school class quartile below will be guaranteed admission if the required diploma type is earned.
• Students who attend a non-ranking high school, will be provided a class ranking based off of their GPA and the admissions office's internal ranking system.
