Program Description

Current healthcare reforms have increased the demand for public health educators, health promotion specialists, and allied health professionals. The University of Houston’s Bachelor of Science Health program is dedicated to meeting those needs by offering three-degree tracks: public health; health promotion; and health promotion for allied health professionals. These tracks will prepare graduates to work in a variety of settings including public health agencies, worksite health promotion, and voluntary health agencies. Healthcare reforms have increased the need for public health educators, health promotion specialists and allied health professionals with bachelor of science degrees. Our program is dedicated to meeting these needs by offering three degree tracks:

  • Public Health
  • Health Promotion
  • Health Promotion for Allied Health Professionals

Admission Requirements

  • Have an equivalent GPA 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale) on Year 12th.
  • SAT or ACT score encouraged

  • Total 120 Credits program
  • Yearly tuition fee is given
  • I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $41,410.
