Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science
Program Description
Students who study Environmental Science learn to identify, analyze, discuss, and solve environmental problems. This major will prepare you for a career as an environmental scientist capable of working in various fields including government, research, conservation, management, consulting, and writing.
As a CMU Environmental Science major, you will have opportunities to:
- develop a background in biology, chemistry, geology, meteorology, and physics
- improve communication, math, analysis, and reasoning skills
- participate in hands-on learning through research projects, internships, and classes focusing on the atmosphere, ecosystems, agriculture, wildlife, and the natural world
- receive unique learning experiences at CMU’s Besgrove-Hodge Nature Sanctuary
Admission Requirements
To receive unconditional admission to Central Methodist University,
applicants have two pathways:
- Unconditional admission with a high school GPA of 2.5 and an ACT composite score of 18 or SAT Concordance of 960.
- Unconditional admission with a high school GPA of 2.75 with a college preparatory high school transcript as outlined below and no required ACT or SAT score (the high school GPA will be determined by the weighted GPA, if that GPA is noted on the high school transcript).

Remarks:
- I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $38,490.
- Yearly tuition fee is given
