Bachelor of Science in Technology & Engineering Education
Program Description
The Technology & Engineering Education program at CMU provides students with a Missouri teaching certification in grades 9-12. This degree program is a partnership between CMU and Moberly Area Community College with the content courses taken at MACC and the education coursework taken at CMU.
As a CMU T&E major, you will have opportunities to:
- build an in-demand skill set while taking classes from MACC in communication technology, welding, machine tools, energy and power, and more.
- develop pedagogical skills while taking classes at CMU such as Classroom Management, Education Methodology, and Education as a Profession.
- participate in hands-on learning through projects and field experiences.
- become a candidate for employment who is highly desired for your technical skills, creativity, leadership, and teaching abilities.
Admission Requirements
To receive unconditional admission to Central Methodist University,
applicants have two pathways:
- Unconditional admission with a high school GPA of 2.5 and an ACT composite score of 18 or SAT Concordance of 960.
- Unconditional admission with a high school GPA of 2.75 with a college preparatory high school transcript as outlined below and no required ACT or SAT score (the high school GPA will be determined by the weighted GPA, if that GPA is noted on the high school transcript).

- I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $38,490.
