Program Description

Radiographers capture images that help doctors diagnose patients. At Roosevelt, you’ll learn how to use technology to take MRI and X-ray scans. Gain clinical experience while you live and learn in downtown Chicago. In the last five years, every Roosevelt radiography graduate has found a job six months after graduation. Radiologic and MRI technologists earn an average of $63,710 per year (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Radiographers work in hospitals as well as diagnostic centers, doctor's offices and clinics. After graduation, you can earn certification in other advanced imaging techniques, like:

  • Computed Axial Tomography (CAT)
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Mammography
  • Positron Emission Tomography (PET)

Roosevelt alumni have also pursued careers in education, administration and research.

Admission Requirements

  • A GPA of 2.5 is required in high school.
  • SAT/ACT scores optional.
