Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership

Program Description

The Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership (ILED) prepares licensed teachers to become effective and democratic instructional leaders in diverse school environments. Upon completion of the program, candidates will be eligible to add either the principal or teacher leader endorsement to their Illinois teaching licenses. At the heart of the Instructional Leadership program is job-embedded coursework taught by practicing school and district leaders across Chicago and the Suburbs. Roosevelt faculty works with instructional leaders from across Chicago to continually update this unique dual concentration progra. Today, Partnership Steering Committees in both Schaumburg and Chicago meet regularly to admit candidates, update training and instruction, and assess outcomes.

Admission Requirements

  • A GPA of 2.7 is required in undergraduate degree.
  • No GRE required

  • I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $39,764.
