Program Description

The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering program provides an engineering science-intensive approach to increase students’ understanding and problem-solving abilities. Offering concentrations to tailor your field of study, the MS in Electrical Engineering is directed toward both full-time and part-time students with a special emphasis on providing training, experience in performing independent research on topics with theoretical as well as applied interest, and managing projects.

Admission Requirements

  • Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education in electrical engineering. Other related disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for admission. Candidates with a lower GPA may be considered for conditional admittance or nondegree status.
  • Programming competence in C, C++, Visual Basic, or FORTRAN.
  • Candidates with an undergraduate degree not accredited by ABET are encouraged to submit a GRE score from the past five years.

  • I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $40,650.
