Program Description

The UCO Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program has long been regarded as one of the best programs in the state and nation. The program provides students with entry-level competencies to teach physical education and health in schools, grades K-12. The curriculum develops and enhances the students’ psychomotor, cognitive and affective learning domains. Career opportunities for Physical Education/Health include:

Admission Requirements

The student must show a minimum GPA of 2.70 or its equivalent in high school.
