Program Description

The Human Services major at the University of Central Oklahoma prepares students for a career in social work. Specific areas covered in this major include Introduction to Social Work, Minorities in American Society, The Family, Human Behavior and the Social Environment and Social Welfare Theory. Human Services major have the following career opportunities: 

• Administration and Planning
• Case Management
• Advocacy
• Program Evaluation
• Policy Development

Admission Requirements

The student must show a minimum GPA of 2.70 or its equivalent in high school.

• I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $26,300.
