Program Description
Develop your knowledge and understanding of classical and modern control theory, industrial automation, systems analysis, design and simulation as well as robotics.
Course summary
- Gain the ability to apply principles of modelling, classical and modern control concepts and controller design packages.
- Learn how to design and exploit automation and robotic systems in a range of manufacturing and industrial applications.
- Work alongside research staff from the Power, Electrical and Control Engineering, and Electronic Engineering Subject Groups and the Centre for Automation and Robotics Research (CARR) at Sheffield Hallam.

Admission Requirements
The following qualifications will be considered for entry on to postgraduate taught programmes,
- three year Bachelor Degree with a minimum score of between 55 to 60 per cent or above (from a reputable university)
- four year Bachelor Degree with a minimum score of 55 per cent or above (from a reputable university)
- Successful completion of a recognised pre-masters course
