Program Description

This three year course aims to provide a level of knowledge and skills in Accounting and Finance that prepares students for middle level responsibility in an Accounting environment. Students who gain the Bachelor Degree Award may exit into the world of employment with this solid qualification.

This 3 year course is made up of 6 semesters over 3 years. Each year of the course is designed for the student to build on the accounting and business skills they have gained in the previous year, for this reason our modules are built in disciplinary pillars. The core disciplinary skills are wide in breadth and are covered in 4 pillars throughout the course with the remaining two pillars delivering the complimentary skills in professional communication, corporate dynamics and strong Data Management and BI skills.A career in Accounting & Finance can offer you a strategic role in the management and development of an organisation. The career opportunities are broad ranging, interesting and dynamic. A career in Accounting and Finance is considered financially attractive, recession proof and a passport to travel globally.  While many go on to work in practice or in core financial reporting roles, the majority of accountants work in industry, many as auditors, tax consultants and management consultants. Graduates of this course also enjoy rewarding careers in banking, finance and charities as well as public sector roles.

Admission Requirements

• Arab Students:-
  • Successful completion of Saudi Associate Degree with a 2.75/4 CGPA.  Must have 3/4 CGPA for Engineering/Computing/Science programmes.
  • Successful completion of Higher College of Technology – Certificate with a 2.75/4 CGPA.  Must have 3/4 CGPA for Engineering/Computing/Science programmes
• Bangladesh Students:-Bangladeshi Higher Secondary, or Alim Examination plus successful completion of TU Dublin Foundation or another recognised pre-university foundation with relevant subjects and 60% - 65%
• Indian Students:-Successful completion of HSC XII
  • HSC XII: CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata or Tamil Nadu boards with an overall average of 70% or above.
  • HSC XII: West Bengal board with an overall average of 58% or above.
  • HSC XII: Maharashtra or Gujarat boards with an overall average of 75% or above.
  • HSC XII: All other state boards with an overall average of 80%+ or above
• Iran Students:-3 year High School Diploma (Nazari or Fani Herfei) plus one year pre-university programme (Peeshdaneshgahe) with minimum mark 14/20 CGPA.
