This three-year degree course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to work in Ireland's rapidly expanding (Bio)Pharmaceutical Industry and worldwide.
Years one and two focus on the fundamental sciences, and Year Three emphasises relevant applied modules, including Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management.
As well as getting a good grounding in all science subjects, you will learn how drugs and other medical products are manufactured and drug regulatory issues. There is an option for graduates of this course to specialise further by progression onto an Honours degree course at DkIT in Biopharmaceutical Science.

This course aims to educate and train scientists for employment in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, a major growth area of economic and strategic importance both in Ireland and Worldwide.

Grade 12 with a minimum of 55% from a recognised institution. Subjects must include English, Lab Science and Mathematics.

The first 150 students who apply will receive free accommodation for the first year. The student will receive a rebate of Euros 1400 on the room rent of the second and third years.
