Bachelor of Education Adolescent Young Adult (AYA) Education

Program Description

University of Findlay’s AYA Education Program will prepare you for a career in teaching junior high and high-school aged students with the ability to double major in education and your chosen field. The College’s philosophy of embedding theory into practice requires you to begin working with students in classrooms during your freshman year. More extensive field experience in the sophomore and junior years prepare you for student teaching senior year.  The College of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Programs are approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. 

Admission Requirements

  • To be admitted to the University of Findlay, students must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in year 12th.
  • The ACT or SAT is not required.

  • Yearly tuition fee is given
  • I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $48,176.
