Program Description

Whether you aspire to conduct cutting edge biological research such as traveling the globe in search of a new species or investigating antibiotic resistance, attend medical school, veterinary school, or PA school, the Findlay biology program will provide the knowledge and skills necessary for your success. The 2019 graduating class of biology majors had an 85% acceptance rate into graduate/professional school and a 100% acceptance rate into veterinarian school for those who applied.

Admission Requirements

• High school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank;
• American College Test (ACT) (minimum 20 composite ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (minimum 950 composite SAT) scores;
  • for those students unable to take the ACT or SAT due to COVID-19 closing testing centers, the following criteria will be used:
    • An Academic Letter of Recommendation;
    • A graded writing sample of previous academic work;
    • An interview with University Admissions personnel;
