Program Description

The Nursing Program is committed to preparing graduates with a collaborative, innovative and experiential focus in the practice of nursing, while serving society as healthcare leaders. Our faculty are experts within their nursing specialties. You will gain experience in our nursing care skills lab, simulation and throughout clinical practice. Our graduates are eligible to take the licensure exam to become a Registered Nurse.

Admission Requirements

• High school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank;
• American College Test (ACT) (minimum 20 composite ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (minimum 950 composite SAT) scores;
  • for those students unable to take the ACT or SAT due to COVID-19 closing testing centers, the following criteria will be used:
    • An Academic Letter of Recommendation;
    • A graded writing sample of previous academic work;
    • An interview with University Admissions personnel;
