Master of Theology
Program Description
The Master of Theology is a 30-Hour, 10 course graduate program of study designed to prepare graduate students for Christian Ministry vocations including church, para-church, non-profit organizations, and continued academic study in biblical, theological, and Christian ministry disciplines.
Admission Requirements
- Eighteen undergraduate hours in Christian studies OR a master’s degree OR applicable graduate courses.
- If undergraduate overall GPA is below 3.0, either GRE (Graduate Record Exam) OR MAT (Miller Analogy Test).
- Philosophy of ministry essay (2-3 pages), in which the applicant briefly summarizes his or her conversion and call to ministry, current title and place of ministry and current philosophy of ministry.
- Two reference letters (one from an academician and one from a ministry mentor).
- Interview with the dean of the school of theology.
