Along with most of the wider travel and hospitality sectors, tourism has been hit hard by the global COVID-19 crisis. As the industry reforms and develops innovative strategies, products and approaches that will lead a recovery over the next three to five years, there’ll be increasing need for skilled professionals to lead the rebuild. There will be a need to replace those who left the sector, as well as graduates with a mix of traditional knowledge and updated thinking that fits the new-look global tourism industry. Lincoln University’s Bachelor of Tourism Management is designed to prepare you for the emerging strategic opportunities and re-imagining of sustainable and regenerative tourism both in Aotearoa-New Zealand and on a global scale. You’ll grow your understanding of this, along with how tourism blends people, places and cultures into memorable contexts and experiences. You’ll be in demand to lead an innovative and bold rebuilding of the world’s largest single industry.
