Course summary
- Learn how to address complex occupational challenges that individuals experience in everyday life.
- Prepare for the changing face of health and social care, to effectively meet the needs of people across communities.
- Think critically to develop future services.
- Complete four placements, three of which are part-time and one full -time.
- Collaborate in integrated and shared learning experiences with students across other health programmes.
This course allows you to apply for registration with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and find careers as an occupational therapist in a wide range of health, social care, voluntary and independent sector environments. Graduates have secured positions across the UK and international locations.
Admission Requirements
The following qualifications will be considered for entry on to postgraduate taught programmes,
- three year Bachelor Degree with a minimum score of between 55 to 60 per cent or above (from a reputable university)
- four year Bachelor Degree with a minimum score of 55 per cent or above (from a reputable university)
- Successful completion of a recognised pre-masters course
