Program Description
A qualification in outdoor education gives you the skillset to work in the outdoor and adventure industry, teaching and leading others.AUT outdoor education graduates work in many fields. They teach in schools, work in outdoor pursuit centres, operate adventure tourism ventures and often progress into management. Encounter New Zealand’s unique environment and learn from some of the country’s most experienced staff in outdoor education. AUT staff have worked and adventured in some of the world’s most exciting places including Antarctica, Nepal, North and South America, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the Alps of France, Austria and Switzerland.
Admission Requirements
Bangladesh Students
- One year of successful study towards an undergraduate degree at a recognised institute.
India Students
- 12 years of schooling with an overall average of 75% in four academic subjects, including a min 60% in English from All-India Senior Certificate (AISSC) - Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CBSC), or Indian School Certificate (ISC) - Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), or Indian State Boards - Karnataka, Maharashtra or West Bengal State Board Examinations.
- All other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations require an overall average of 80% in four academic subjects with a min 65% in English.
Arab Students
- One year of successful study towards an undergraduate degree at a recognised institute; or
- Successful completion of a diploma at a recognised college of technology; or
- Successful completion of a junior health diploma at a recognised tertiary institution; or
- Successful completion of a higher technical institute diploma at a recognised tertiary institution.
