Program Description

With an ever-growing demand for skilled electronic engineers, our IET accredited course will equip you with the skills and expertise you’ll need to meet the challenges of a constantly changing industrial world.You’ll have the latest technology at your fingertips in our new laboratories and be able to collaborate with other students on innovative projects to hone your skills. Our course covers a number of contemporary topics, including power electronics, signal processing, renewable systems, holistic modeling of electronic systems and image processing. Building on your previous experience, and with developed practical skills, you’ll leave with the expert knowledge and understanding to practice safely and effectively in a wide range of environments.

The possibilities that are open to you range from design or systems engineering, to medical electronics, environmental monitoring, microelectronics, sound technology, biophysics, power, transport, industrial process control, and teaching. Across industry, there’ll be opportunities to find your own specialist niche. You could also apply your newly acquired skills to enter a research degree (PhD, ProfDoc).

Admission Requirements

• Applicants will require an honours degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent subject at 2.2 or above from a recognised university. Those who do not possess an honours degree but have a degree or degree equivalent qualification and/or work experience will be considered. Qualifications from an approved professional body will also be taken into account. Applicants may be invited for interview.

• Course duration: September starts, 12 months; January start, 15 months.
• For IELTS Waiver - At least 65% marks in English in Higher Secondary School
• The university will not accept a master's degree student for another master's degree course.
