Program Description

Develop the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in international law firms and businesses, with our LLM International Business and Commercial Law degree.As a postgraduate International Business and Commercial Law student at ARU, you’ll master the fundamental themes of business and commercial law, and take your skillset above and beyond. You’ll also gain a unique insight into how the grammar of law was shaped that you can take all over the world after graduation. You’ll relish the challenge of your Major Project, which is a brilliant opportunity for you to explore an area of international law you’re passionate about.

You’ll learn about international commercial contracts, e-commerce and international intellectual property law. You’ll also examine and critically assess how businesses address commercial disputes in the context of globalisation. And you can advance your knowledge of competition law or comparative company law.

As well as this, you’ll build upon your existing skills in using electronic databases, academic writing, and referencing. You’ll develop your research skills, methods, and methodology too. This will stand you in good stead for your Major Project, where you carry out a research project from start to finish, supervised by a member of academic staff.

Admission Requirements

• A first degree, with honours, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of lower second (2:2) or equivalent.
