Program Description

Trent’s Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) prepares you to be more than just a teacher. This specialized two-year program – with guiding philosophies of ecological and social justice, Indigenous knowledge, and inclusivity – provides a platform for students to become well-rounded educators committed to advancing the impact of education. Trent’s B.Ed. prepares you to teach at the Primary/ Junior (K-Grade 6) or Intermediate/Senior levels (Grades 7-12), offering more opportunities to get experience in classrooms. By the time you graduate, you’ll have more than 100 days of work experience and be certified to teach at any school in the province.

Admission Requirements

  • Indian Students:-Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (awarded by CISCE) / All India Secondary School Certificate (awarded by CBSE) with Marks Statement (Standard X); and Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE)/ All India Senior School Certificate (awarded by CBSE) with Marks Statement (Standard XII).   Minimum 70% average required.
  • Iran Students:-Diplom-Metevaseth/National High School Diploma with minimum 15/20 and Concours/Emtahan-Vordy-Sartasari.
  • Arab Students:-General Secondary Certificate with minimum 80% in academic courses.
  • Applicants are also required to meet the requirements of the teaching divisions.
