Program Description
Demand has never been higher for professionals who specialize in gerontology. The Gerontology concentration brings focus to the study of aging and longevity. It is concerned with the psychological, sociological and behavioral aspects of the life course and lifespan. Learn the skills you need to excel in a rewarding and growing field.

Admission Requirements
- Official academic transcripts and/or Foreign Academic Credential Evaluation (FACE)* for all foreign transcripts. Evaluations of foreign transcripts are accepted from any NACES or AICE member such as WES, IFCS, Scholaro, or SpanTran.
- Mercy College takes a holistic approach in reviewing each student’s application. In the admission decision, we review a student’s transcript and academic record, including the courses taken and the grades attained. Other factors considered include the written essay, letters of recommendation, leadership potential, extracurricular and service-related activities.
- We do not require ACT or SAT for international undergraduate students
