Bachelor of Science Behavioral Science: Health Services Management
Program Description
With current demographics and evolving regulatory guidelines, career prospects are high for healthcare management professionals. Few careers impact society as much as the delivery, organization and financing of healthcare services. The Behavioral Science Major with this concentration in Health Services Management is a 36-credit major. The Health Services Management specialization focuses your major and gives you knowledge and experiences that are directed toward an eventual goal of being a health services administrator.
The Health Services Management concentration is for students who are interested in working in the healthcare field, including:
- hospitals
- clinics
- health insurance companies
- medical centers
Admission Requirements
- Official academic transcripts and/or Foreign Academic Credential Evaluation (FACE)* for all foreign transcripts. Evaluations of foreign transcripts are accepted from any NACES or AICE member such as WES, IFCS, Scholaro, or SpanTran.
- Mercy College takes a holistic approach in reviewing each student’s application. In the admission decision, we review a student’s transcript and academic record, including the courses taken and the grades attained. Other factors considered include the written essay, letters of recommendation, leadership potential, extracurricular and service-related activities.
- We do not require ACT or SAT for international undergraduate students
