You want to be a manager who makes critical business decisions. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and you’re eager to develop your leadership abilities and financial know-how. As a Business with Finance student at ARU, you’ll get all the prowess of a business degree, along with the financial discipline to make big, informed decisions. Get practical experience with our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, and an optional placement year.

ARU’s teaching facilities include our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, where you’ll be able to practice your skills from the first year. It will be your safe space to learn all the tricks of the trade. This way, you’ll be ready for your first graduate role with proficiency in contemporary platforms that are used around the financial world. Receiving an industry-recognised Bloomberg certification on graduation will only increase your pool of career options. From chartered management accountant and credit analyst, through management consultant and corporate investment banker, to bank manager, marketing executive, project manager or environmental manager – the routes after this degree are immeasurable. From an employer’s perspective, the confidence you will gain in understanding the financial side of a business — and being able to think critically at this level — makes you an ideal candidate for a more senior role.

Studying Business with Finance is perfect if you want to become an accountant, or go on to further study in financial management. It can also be the basis for a wide range of careers in industry, business and the public sector. We work with employers to make sure you graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need. They help us review what we teach and how we teach it – and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships or placements. Throughout our BSc (Hons) Business with Finance course, you’ll benefit from lectures and seminars on career-relevant issues, such as CV preparation, job-hunting, obtaining work experience and using social media. Our dedicated placements and employability support team will give you access to information that’s directly relevant to business management and finance graduates.

Standard 12 with average of 55%-60%(depending on Board of Education)

• Course Duration-January and September starts-3 years full-time, 4 years with placement & 4 years with foundation
