Program Description

Technological and cultural innovation over the past several years have led to an astronomical increase in data and our ability to utilize it as a more objective, decision-making tool in business. Mercy University’s B.S. in Data Analytics provides students with the understanding and skills they need to compete in the 21st century’s data-driven business environment. Students will interact with faculty members actively working in the industry in order to develop applied skills in working with data to generate solid business insights and strategies.

Data Analysts are employed throughout companies and organizations for a multitude of specialized purposes (finance, marketing, accounting, HR, operations, supply chain management, etc.). Data analysts are some of the most sought-after professionals in the business world today.

Admission Requirements

• Official academic transcripts and/or Foreign Academic Credential Evaluation (FACE)* for all foreign transcripts. Evaluations of foreign transcripts are accepted from any NACES or AICE member such as WES, IFCS, Scholaro, or SpanTran.
• Mercy College takes a holistic approach in reviewing each student’s application. In the admission decision, we review a student’s transcript and academic record, including the courses taken and the grades attained. Other factors considered include the written essay, letters of recommendation, leadership potential, extracurricular and service-related activities.
• We do not require ACT or SAT for international undergraduate students
