Program Description
Mercy’s legal studies program prepares graduates for careers in law by providing a strong undergraduate education emphasizing communication, leadership, technology and ethics. Using a ‘Practice Ready’ approach Mercy’s program is structured to give students a real world, legally-oriented education which leads to the attainment of marketable skills. Whether a student wants to pursue a career in business or a life practicing law, a bachelor’s degree in legal studies offers them academic training that prepares them for both the workforce and graduate-level study.

Admission Requirements
- Official academic transcripts and/or Foreign Academic Credential Evaluation (FACE)* for all foreign transcripts. Evaluations of foreign transcripts are accepted from any NACES or AICE member such as WES, IFCS, Scholaro, or SpanTran.
- Mercy College takes a holistic approach in reviewing each student’s application. In the admission decision, we review a student’s transcript and academic record, including the courses taken and the grades attained. Other factors considered include the written essay, letters of recommendation, leadership potential, extracurricular and service-related activities.
- We do not require ACT or SAT for international undergraduate students
