Program Description

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Industrial Engineering provides students the background that is essential for improving the productivity, quality, safety, sustainability, and cost effectiveness of all types of systems and processes. Industrial engineers are typically engaged in the areas of quality control, human factors and ergonomics, facilities design, work design, production and operations management, supply chain design or redesign, information technology, manufacturing and service systems optimization, and industrial safety. The B.S. major in Industrial Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
