Master of Accountancy in Accounting (Professional Accounting and Reporting)

Program Description

The Master of Accountancy (M.Acy.) degree is designed to broaden the educational experience of individuals preparing for a career in the public accounting profession. Students explore the social, ethical, and environmental effects of accounting information on those who rely on it for their decision-making needs. The M.Acy. program can be sued to satisfy the 150-hour education requirement for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Texas. An undergraduate degree in Accounting is not required.

Admission Requirements

  • A GPA of 3.0 is required
  • Years of UG degree plus 2 years of PG degree or One-year diploma accepted.
  • official GMAT/GRE (general test only) not required for applicants with an overall 3.5 GPA or a 3.5 GPA in your last-60-hours of undergraduate course work. If the last-60-hours GPA falls below the minimum requirement, the official GMAT or GRE (general test only) with competitive scores will be required in order to be considered.
