Program Description

The program prepares students to become innovative professionals and leaders in the global construction marketplace. Texas State is located in San Marcos, Texas, part of the booming Austin Metropolitan Area. Students have opportunities in construction-oriented research, internships, and employment. Graduates of the program secure positions in various construction-focused specialties, including construction contract administration, estimating, scheduling and project management, concrete ready-mix operations, concrete contracting, construction materials sales and distribution, and sustainability.

Admission Requirements

• A GPA of 3.0 is required. Non-U.S. degrees must be equivalent to a four-year U.S. Bachelor’s degree. In most cases, three-year degrees are not considered.
• baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university in construction-related area.
• GRE not required
