Program Description

Business Analytics is a multidisciplinary program aimed to improve and optimize business processes. The combination of business administration, information technological and mathematical methods play an important role in this program. In addition to basic courses in these disciplines, a number of interdisciplinary courses and practice-oriented components are part of the study. Students will be trained in identifying and solving problems in very diverse fields.

Students will study the relevant theories, but also work on challenging projects in small groups. They will develop communication, consulting and presenting skills. Based on interdisciplinary and practice-oriented components, the program prepares competitive professionals who can be employed in both private, public and international organizations, in the following positions: business management analyst, information technology analyst, financial and statistical analyst. The bachelor’s program in business analytics is designed in such a way that students have the ability to use analytical techniques.
 

Considering the complexity of business analytics, the program is designed to meet the following requirements:

• The graduate will be able to conceptualize and interrelate areas of interest which are relevant to the real-world complexities of the organization;
• The graduate will be able to process design issues of model-oriented organizational information systems, understand and interpret the results.;
• The graduate will be able to identify the research provided by analytical projects, evaluate them critically, work in teams, understand own responsibilities, plan ethically responsible research, use time and project management skills.
   

Graduates will also be able to disclose their professional interests and improve their knowledge at higher level of studies.

Admission Requirements

Minimum 55% marks are required in Higher Secondary School.

Remarks:

• The student is required to pay the first year's tuition fees in advance to the university in order to enrol in the course.
• A bank statement with a minimum closing balance of 8,000 USD and a maturity date of at least six months is required to apply for a visa.
• Applicants should apostil their affidavit of support and certificates with the Ministry of External Affairs of their home countries prior to applying for visas. (Except students from the Middle East)
