Overview

Ulster University is a large, diverse, and modern institution with over 25,000 students and 3,000 staff. The University has ambitious development plans, notably the expansion of the Belfast City campus to open in 2018. The new enhanced Belfast campus will transform higher education in the city, creating dynamic teaching and learning environments. The Belfast campus offers programs in architecture, hospitality, photography, digital animation, and event management. The campus hosts frequent art exhibitions and fashion shows. The Belfast campus is part of the city’s vibrant Cathedral Quarter, the city’s up-and-coming cultural center. The area is part of a dynamic arts scene, and the campus plays host to several annual festivals including the Ulster Festival of Art and Design. The University of Ulster places a strong focus on employability, with many courses receiving professional accreditation and including work placements. English language support is available from CELT both before and during the beginning of the year across all campuses.
