LLM LegalTech
Program Description
The LLM in LegalTech puts you at the forefront of a fast-growing field, opening up exciting career opportunities to harness the power of technology in the legal profession.Artificial Intelligence and related technologies are playing a rapidly increasing role in legal practice. This innovative and topical master’s programme will give you the skills to understand and embrace this new tech, to innovate, and to put ‘LegalTech’ into practice.
You will explore how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain impact legal services. You will also have the opportunity to work with AI systems, to develop LegalTech apps and solutions, to become comfortable working with Big Data, and to understand the legal and regulatory challenges associated with technology.
Admission Requirements
- We welcome applications by prospective students from around the world. Ideally you’ll hold a 2:1 degree in law or computer science, although we will consider candidates with a 2:2 based on their overall and individual module performance. Candidates with relevant experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.

- Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with either a Second Class Upper Division or a Second Class Lower Division equivalent:
- Second Class Upper Division equivalent: 60%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 6 (7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system) - including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
- Second Class Lower Division equivalent: 55% or CGPA 6.1 (10 point system) or CGPA 5.5 (7 point system) or CGPA 2.67 (4 point system) for institutes of national importance/LLB) including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
- Arab Students-Candidates are expected to have successfully completed a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division: CGPA 2.5 (out of 4.0) or Grade C+ CGPA 3.5 (out of 5) or 75% or Grade C+ with IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each part of the test (or equivalent)
