Program Description

Our four-year BSc Environmental Science and the Climate Emergency with a foundation year degree is ideal for students who don't meet the necessary requirements to enter the degree at year one. You will be given the chance to develop an understanding which is essential to successfully completing the degree.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you can progress to either the BSc or BA Geography schemes.Our graduates have become Catchment Scientists, Ecologists, Geographical Data Processors, Surveyors, Housing Officers, Meteorologists, Journalists, Government Advisors and Lecturers.

Admission Requirements

• Arab Students:- Candidates are expected to have achieved one of the following in the relevant curriculum:
  • Al-Thanawaya Al-Amah (GSEC): 60% overall including 60% in 5 relevant subjects
  • American High School: Minimum GPA 2.0 (70%)
  • Cambridge iGCSE: 5 passed with a minimum C grade average
  • IB Certificate: Min 20 Points and must pass mathematics
• Indian Students:-Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
