Program Description

Study Media and English Literature with us and you will learn practical and transferable skills to equip you for an exciting career in the media or related fields, as well as knowledge of literature and writing which could open up a range of wider career opportunities.You will have the chance to explore radio and video production, digital and social media, journalism, public relations, branding and marketing, as well as a range of literature from the Middle Ages to contemporary fiction, creative and professional writing.You will learn from experienced industry professionals, leading academics, and published writers.A work placement will give you first-hand experience of media and communication, and you will have the option of studying a semester abroad in Hong Kong, Singapore or the USA.

Admission Requirements

• Arab Students:- Candidates are expected to have achieved one of the following in the relevant curriculum:
  • Al-Thanawaya Al-Amah (GSEC): 60% overall including 60% in 5 relevant subjects
  • American High School: Minimum GPA 2.0 (70%)
  • Cambridge iGCSE: 5 passed with a minimum C grade average
  • IB Certificate: Min 20 Points and must pass mathematics
• Indian Students:-Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
