Program Description

On this course you will study two languages including French, German and Spanish, as well as education. You can choose to specialise in digital learning in education and technology enhanced learning. You will have a year abroad and the option to work as an English Foreign Language teacher through the British Council. Throughout the course, you will also have the option of studying translation and culture. The degree leads to multiple career options in Education, Government, Translation, Marketing and Public Relations.The department's graduates enter careers including:

Admission Requirements

• Arab Students:- Candidates are expected to have achieved one of the following in the relevant curriculum:
  • Al-Thanawaya Al-Amah (GSEC): 60% overall including 60% in 5 relevant subjects
  • American High School: Minimum GPA 2.0 (70%)
  • Cambridge iGCSE: 5 passed with a minimum C grade average
  • IB Certificate: Min 20 Points and must pass mathematics
• Indian Students:-Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
