Program Description

The Department of Communication Studies is concerned with human interaction and communication in all its forms.  The Communication Studies Department provides research, teaching and service to enable students to develop understanding and skills in order to thrive in a global communication environment of unremitting change and increasing diversity. To this end the department offers an undergraduate major in Communication Studies, and graduate courses leading to a Master of Arts in Communication Management.

Admission Requirements

• GPA requirement: 3.0 (though students with lower G.P.A.’s will be considered to see what other parts of their application show promise of success). Students may always enroll Non-Degree Seeking to mitigate a substandard G.P.A.
• Only those students who are applying for a GTA position need take the GRE.

• Indian Students-3 Years bachelor's degree acceptable only from NAAC A accredited university with 1st division
• I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $39,718.
