Overview

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is an internationally-renowned public doctoral research university and academic health centre. Students will live and learn in a metropolitan area of more than 1.2 million people that is a thriving centre of medicine, banking, business, research and development. The university was rated in the top 200 national universities and the top 75 best public schools by U.S. News & World Report 2022. Also, 16 of its graduate programs rank in the top 25.

Students at UAB can choose from a wide range of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in virtually every domain of study, ranging from arts, education and engineering to nursing and public health. UAB also has many facilities on offer to help international students transition to university and acquire vital skills along the way.

UAB has partnered with INTO to create a support system, where students can enter a fully integrated program to earn academic credits towards their UAB degree while developing their English skills.
