MPH: Concentration in Applied Epidemiology
Program Description
The MSPH with a concentration in Applied Epidemiology is an academic degree designed for students who wish to receive education and training emphasizing epidemiologic research methods. In addition, students who wish to enter doctoral-level training should consider majoring in epidemiology at the master's level. This program emphasizes training in biostatistical concepts and their application in epidemiologic research.
Admission Requirements
- The GRE is waived for all master’s degree programs. However, if an applicant has fewer than five years of full-time professional health care/ public health practice experience AND a GPA below 3.0, we strongly encourage that applicant to take and include a GRE score with their application in an effort to improve the overall strength of the application.
- Successful applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
