Program Description

The Master of Arts in Education in Special Education with Early Childhood Special Education Concentration prepares students to work with young children with delays or disabilities and their families in a variety of settings (early intervention, preschool, or K-3 settings). Coursework takes a minimum of 39 semester hours to complete and includes courses in early intervention and preschool curriculum and methods, physical and health care support, communication facilitation, and technology applications as well as a practicum.

• Successful applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
