In this interdisciplinary program, which spans biology, biochemistry and biomedicine, you'll have opportunities to pursue basic or translational research in areas from cancer, infectious disease and neuroscience to immunology, cell signaling and developmental biology. You'll use a wide array of techniques to explore a spectrum of important biological questions through innovative, collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches. As a biochemistry, cell and molecular biology student, you'll build on foundational science coursework through an individually-tailored program that emphasizes research skills and career development. Our master’s program is research-intensive, giving you exceptional hands-on expertise as you work to complete original research and a master’s thesis.
