As part of the major, you'll gain business management and problem-solving skills to meet challenges like building communication networks, leveraging data and analytics, managing online inventory systems, securing organizational data and thwarting cybersecurity threats. At CMU, you’ll learn the management and problem-solving skills needed to design, develop, use and manage highly sought-after information systems. Our IS graduates are in demand, and nearly 100 percent are working in their field immediately after graduation. First-year salaries for IS grads are among the highest for CMU's College of Business Administration.

You'll dive deep into a concentration area and gain valuable experience while using industry technologies in the classroom such as SAP software.
